FIELD: heat exchangers and processes for making them. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of holding heat exchanger tubes made of aluminum base material and ribs made of aluminum base zinc-containing material soldered one to another by means of solder composition applied upon outer surface of tubes; then heating tube of heat exchanger and ribs until predetermined temperature in order to join them by soldering while forming on outer surface of tube mixed diffusion layer; using extruded flattened tube and solder composition being mixture of silicon and fluoride flux. Mixed diffusion layer includes silicon present in solder composition and zinc present in ribs of radiators. According to invention zinc concentration in heat exchanger ribs is in range (1 - 5)%.
