FIELD: building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to raw mixtures based on swollen vermiculite used for heat insulating building material making. Raw mixture comprises the following components, wt.-%: Portland cement, 12.36-20.03; swollen vermiculite, 49.5-60.39; foam concentrate "Neopor", 0.079-0.083; water, 27.18-30.3; Heat insulating material made on the proposed mixture base shows compression strength 4-17 MPa, density 286-487 kg/m3, heat conductivity 0.063-0.095 Wt/(m.K), refractoriness 10 thermal cycles at temperature 600 C. Invention provides enhancement of strength and refractoriness, decrease of density and heat conductivity of materials. EFFECT: improved quality and properties of material. 1 tbl
