FIELD: melting equipment, in particular, structural members of vacuum arc slag-lined furnaces, as well as of plasma-are and electron-beam furnaces with a cold hearth. SUBSTANCE: in the claimed crucible consisting of flexible-joined bimetallic plates the bimetallic plates are obtained by joining of copper and aluminum metal plates, and the water-cooled ducts are made in an aluminum layer. The invention provides for production of slag-lined water-cooled crucibles with a working area of the hearth of 4 sq.m and larger.
