STEPLESS SWITCHING TOPOLOGY IN CONVERTER AMPLIFYING OR SWITCHING CIRCUIT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2195067 C2

FIELD: converter engineering. SUBSTANCE: stepless switching topology implies execution of all ON- operations when main switch is closed by using resonance of resonance-tuned inductance coil and resonance- tuned capacitor upon closure of auxiliary switch. Moreover, in the course of main switch OFF-operation resonance-tuned inductance coil sustains voltage drop that causes failure of power supply and respective auxiliary switch, being in ON-position, provides for efficient operation of circuit. EFFECT: reduced power loss during switching operations. 27 cl, 25 dwg
