FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: isolated muscle is sutured for the whole width at fixation site. Ligature is directed for one third of muscular width, tightened and then, with the same ligature, one should take other muscular portions per 1-1.5 mm to suture then with a blanket suture. While suturing the last one third of a muscle ligature should be directed into the loop and tightened up. Muscle is resected at fixation site by leaving a thin strip of a tendon. Rectangular is cut out of a transplant according to muscular width and the length of desired resection. Transplant is placed above a muscle to be sutured to its end with the rest end of ligature with a blanket suture. Another suture is used to suture the muscle to initial fixation site. The method enables to shorten the volume and time of operative interference, exclude the possibility for secondary vertical deviations of an eyeball. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. 2 ex
