FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: in a zone of attachment of a strong direct muscle to a sclera, stitches are put filing allotissue of predetermined size. A muscle is cut from a place of attachment and a free allotissue end is sewn in this place to a sclera. A firm cerebral cover, a wide fascia of a hip, a tendon of skeletal muscles, or pericardium can be used as allotissue. Method proposed allows for reaching steady cosmetic effect without disturbance of a place of anatomic attachment of internal direct muscles of an eyeball, as the direct muscle extended weth allotissue is sewn on the former place of attachment.
EFFECT: increased visual acuity in a mowing eye due to activation of metabolic processes in eyeball covers.
