FIELD: medicine and ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A limbal-radial incision of the conjunctiva and tenon capsule is performed. The medial rectus muscle is isolated, stitched with suture material, cut off from the anatomical attachment site and moved towards the equator at a predetermined distance, followed by fixation to the sclera. In this case, the medial rectus muscle is isolated while preserving the muscle bag. It is weakened by the recession method and additionally Botox is injected into the weakened medial rectus at a dose of 2-5 units. For this, having retreated 2-4 mm from the new site of muscle localization, an insulin syringe is injected into the middle part of the muscle bag, the needle cut is positioned towards the sclera, followed by the movement of the needle to a depth of 2-5 mm in the distal direction. In a particular case, the limbal-radial incision is performed at 2 and 4 o'clock, 5-7 mm long.
EFFECT: invention allows minimizing the stages of subsequent surgical treatment, increasing stability of the result.
