FIELD: food industry; applicable in separation of loose articles into separate fractions differing in sizes. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator has body with branch pipes for supply of material to be separated and discharge of separated fractions; drum located in separator body on vertical axle and consisting of a number of sections formed by cylindrical sieves; disc and brush cleaners located on drum outside; loading device and drum rotary drive. Drum is split along its axis. Each part of drum comes in contact by means of roller with vibrator which is made in the form of cam fastened with sprocket of chain transmission and installed on carrier fitted by means of bearings on bearing shaft. The other sprocket is rigidly secured to drum bearing shaft. In this case, carrier and bearing shaft are connected via individual belt transmission with separator common drive. EFFECT: regulated conditions of separation resulted in improved quality of separation. 3 dwg
