GRAVITATIONAL SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2217244 C1

FIELD: separation of loose materials by sizes; agricultural equipment and combined fodder industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed gravitational separator includes loading bin, fraction discharge branch pipes and separating cones mounted in succession one after another in way of motion of material being separated. Separating cones are made in form of wedge-shaped slots widening from vertex towards base; they are provided with receivers for passing fractions. Truncated separating cones are provided with distributing caps located above them; sizes of bases and wedge-shaped slots reduce in way of motion of material being separated. Tail fraction outlet passages are provided with units for connection with outlet passages of adjacent cones. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation; increased productivity; extended range of application. 1 dwg
