FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: diffusion juice is combined with activated suspension of II-carbonatation juice precipitate, while simultaneously feeding into mixer live steam (0.20-0.24 MPa) in amount 0.8-1.0% of the weight of beet. Mixture is held for 3-5 min and then preliming, main liming, I carbonization, filtration, liming before II liming, and II liming are performed. Suspension of II-carbonatation juice precipitate is thickened and activated through carbonization to pH 7.5-8.0, after which combined with diffusion juice. Purity of refined juice is thus increased by 0.2-0.7%. EFFECT: increased fullness of precipitation of nonsugars of diffusion juice and improved sedimentation and filtration characteristics of precipitate leading higher purity of juice. 1 tbl
