FIELD: water supply of populated areas. SUBSTANCE: water supply system includes water conduits, water tower, standby-adjustment reservoir, distribution network, hydraulic-pneumatic water elevator comprising two leak-tight tanks with valves and air conduit connecting tanks and ejector. One tank is placed in water tower, the other tans is positioned between distribution network and standby-adjustment reservoir at level of bottom of the latter. Water tower has bypass, internal surface of nozzle part of ejector has curvilinear spiral-like guides. Mixing chamber of ejector communicates with atmosphere. System is supplemented with control center that monitors level of water and pressure of air in hydraulic-pneumatic water elevator with the help of transducers and pressure controllers mounted in front of both sealed tanks. EFFECT: raised operational reliability, decreased energy consumption and improved water exchange in reservoir. 2 dwg
