FIELD: preparation of water for drinking and industrial purposes; chlorination of potable water under conditions of abruptly changing flow rate and pressure. SUBSTANCE: proposed water chlorinator includes chlorine supply pipe line, evaporator, program regulator with intake and exhaust valves, clean water pipe line with ejector connected with program regulator via check and exhaust valves, metering reservoir mounted in parallel with program regulator between intake and exhaust valves and receiver located between intake and check valves, as well as temperature sensor of chlorine evaporator connected with program regulator; it is also provided with receiver made in form of overturned truncated cone with spiral-shaped conductors with traps located inside them; traps are made in form of dovetail changing to circular cavity which is connected with mud collector; program regulator is provided with communication lines of parameters of starting water; inner surface of nozzle part of ejector is provided with curvilinear helical grooves.
