FIELD: building of ultrahigh pressures in sphere of supercritical state of substance. SUBSTANCE: according to method of building high and ultrahigh pressure, working medium is exposed of thermal cycling in compression chamber by freezing and melting and/or gasification. Sluicing of working medium into following adjacent compression chamber is carried out by opening outlet compression chamber in process of melting and/or gasification of working medium. Two or more parallel cascades are used, each including series-connected compression chambers. process of thermal cycling of working medium is started in inlet compression chamber of first cascade by freezing the working medium owing to extraction of heat by starting refrigerator and subsequent melting and/or gasification of working medium owing to supply of heat by heat transformer from like input compression chamber in parallel with operating cascade in which, owing to extraction of heat, working medium delivered into cascade is frozen. EFFECT: increased efficiency, of thermocycling and economy owing to reduction of working of working medium pressure losses and reliability of thermocycling of working medium. 4 cl, 2 dwg
