FIELD: power engineering; nuclear power units. SUBSTANCE: steam generator has housing with inlet and outlet nozzles, central coolant feeding channel, and coolant channels imparting heat to working agent (water); steam generator is provided with heat- transfer panels incorporating capillary ducts for gas coolant and water; capillary ducts run from inlet chamber feeding water by gravity relative to coolant supply via adjacent capillary ducts to outlet block of heat- transfer panels; the latter are disposed in evacuated pressurized space of steam generator which has heat expansion compensator for central coolant feed channel and steam generator housing in vicinity of gas coolant supply. Novelty is that capillary ducts of gas coolant heat-transfer panels accommodate vortex generators such as those of coiled wire type and that expansion compensator is made in the form of bellows. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and specific power of steam generator; facilitated mounting and dismounting operations. 3 cl, 5 dwg
