FIELD: mechanical engineering; centrifugal pumps and compressors. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at manufacture and balancing of rotors. According to method of balancing of centrifugal machine rotor containing thrust nut and locking coaxial with rotor axis, value and direction of unbalance are found and unbalance is eliminated by turning unbalanced members (nuts and locknuts). Nut and locknut are made with same disbalance sufficient for elimination of initial unbalance of rotor in plane of their mounting. Angular orientation of nuts is carried out by fitted gaskets of required thickness at their end faces. EFFECT: simplified process of balancing at manufacture and servicing of rotors. 1 dwg
