FIELD: mechanical engineering; support bearing units of centrifugal machine shafts. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal machine has housing with end face covers, rotor with shaft installed in support bearings and at least three wheels on each end face cover. Outer surfaces of wheels engage with support necks of rotor shaft. Diameter of wheels exceeds diameter of support neck of rotor shaft. Reduced speed of wheels on which shaft rests, as compared with shaft speed, makes it possible to install wheels on traditional radial-thrust bearings.
