FIELD: armor-piercing bullets for sniper cartridges. SUBSTANCE: bullet has an envelope and steel and lead slugs placed in it. An external chamfer measuring (0.05-0.1)d at an angle of 20-30 deg to the bullet axis of symmetry is made on the cylindrical section of the steel slug near its end face, and an axially symmetric recess with radius (1.0-1.5)d is made on the end surface of the steel slug, the depth of the axially symmetric recess and its diameter are equal respectively to (0.1-0.3)d and (0.8-0.9)d, where d-diameter of the slug cylindrical section. EFFECT: enhanced close grouping of shots by 10% as compared with known constructions of bullet of sniper cartridges. 2 dwg
