FIELD: ammunition for small arms, in particular, Makarov pistols. SUBSTANCE: bullet has an envelope and a slug projecting by the whole head section with a flat top from the open end face of the envelope. The slug is secured in the envelope directly by one or several shaped bands located on the slug guide section, the outside diameter of the bands exceeds the inside diameter of the envelope. Bullet is made with the following relations: the envelope mass - bullet mass, 7-12%; slug mass, 88 to 93% of the bullet mass; bullet length, (1.48 to 1.55)d; bullet cone length, (0.25 to 0.28)d; bullet head section length, (0.67 to 0.7)d; slug length, (1.42 to 1.49)d, where d is bullet caliber.
