FIELD: measurement technology and diagnosis of engine knocking. SUBSTANCE: signal of knocking sensor mounted on engine is amplified by means of amplifier , averaged by modulus of determination of autocorrelation function of engine channel and is fed to phase-sensitive detector of engine channel; device is provided with subtractor for determination of difference of autocorrelation function of knocking sensor signal of engine channel and signal of automobile body received from knocking sensor mounted on side member and normalized by low-frequency filter amplified by amplifier and averaged by modulus of determination of autocorrelation function of body channel. Phase-sensitive detectors determine phase of signal of respective channel whose relative shift is determined by means of comparison unit. Logic unit shapes output signal which is compared with normalized signal of set point shaping unit and is furnished to indicator or controller. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to timely and correct determination of engine knocking. 2 cl, 3 dwg
