FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in diagnostics of internal combustion engines. For this, angular acceleration (AA) of turbocompressor rotor (TCR), supercharging pressure under stationary conditions, at acceleration and running-out as well as acceleration harmonics are measured at every stroke of cylinder "C". This process is based on determination of autocorrelation functions or energy spectra of accelerations and supercharging pressure as well as on mutually correlated functions or mutual spectra of acceleration energy and supercharging pressure in pairs between C to decide on C operation irregularity and tightness. Proposed device comprises ICE AA and TCR rotor rpm transducers, supercharging pressure transducers, three level selectors, synchronisation pickup, generator of angular mark count start (AM), numbers of AM C and power measurement frequency, indicator, differentiators, device to convert time interval into code, temporary storage register, units of signal registers and computation of mean rpm per cycle, units for computation of irregularity factor, clock pulse generator and circuit for preparation for operation, correlator, energy spectrum meter, peaks counters, subtractors, selectors of unbalance level, converters of time interval into code, two-position switches.
EFFECT: lower labour input, higher accuracy of diagnostics.
