FIELD: analytical methods in medicine. SUBSTANCE: body fluid is deposited in the form of thin layer on object plate, fixed, and dried at room temperature, while constantly registering weight change until its constancy, after which drying is completed in thermostat. From data obtained, point of complete free water vaporization and initial point of bound water vaporization are found and, from them, content of water fractions is calculated. Reliable (relative to control) increase in level of bound water and decrease of free water in plasma and in red cells over the first 6 days and variation of reverse character since the 7th day reflects condition of adaptation body mechanisms in case of experimental toxic hepatitis. EFFECT: increased reliability of conclusions. 2 tbl
