FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: voltage regulator has regulating member in the form of first transistor connected in series with load in positive DC circuit and differential comparison circuit set up of output voltage divider connected in parallel with load and made in the form of series-connected resistor circuit, reference voltage source, and DC balance amplifier built around second and third transistors. Connected to first input of DC balance amplifier is reference voltage source and to its second input, output voltage source; amplifier output is connected to regulating member input. Additional transistor inserted in series with output voltage source has its collector connected to extreme-resistor lead of output voltage divider, its emitter, to minus bus, and base, to plus bus of correcting voltage regulator through additional resistor. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability and serviceability of regulator when its output buses are placed at reverse-polarity voltage. 3 dwg
