FIELD: transmission of speech call with packet switching in real time. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in development of process which enables transmission resources to be used more efficiently without deterioration of quality of real time calls. In formation in this case can be sent by method of packet switching so that transmission delays are short. Delay in transmission of one and same call does not change at receiving end. According to invention repetition period R which is considerably longer than time required to transmit one packet is determined and packet is received at starting moment O of repetition period. Time segment of same duration as duration of packet is extracted from repetition period for connection to which packet is related and packet is transmitted in extracted time segment with reception of new packet coupled to same connection. To achieve specified technical result communication center is formed for data transmission network. EFFECT: more efficient use of transmission resources. 11 cl, 6 dwg
