SEAPLANE ULTRA-LOW ALTITUDE CAPACITANCE-TYPE SENSOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2196077 C2

FIELD: aircraft instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed sensor is made in form of capacitor; used as one plate of capacitor is seaplane wing and used as other plate of capacitor is metal plate located in hole filled with dielectric and found on lower surface of wing. Second hole whose size ensures required reduction of capacitance is made in upper surface. Dielectric is made in form of cellular insert filling the cavity of wing between upper and lower holes. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity of sensor. 1 dwg
