FIELD: aeronautical engineering; seaplanes and flying vehicles employing aerodynamic ground effect at takeoff and landing. SUBSTANCE: proposed seaplane has hull, tail unit, low-set gliding wing at positive transversal V and high-lift devices which are made in form of flaps mounted on section of wing washed with water in position of wing deflected through working angle. Flaps are made in form of hydrofoils secured on struts along length of wing forming slit between trailing edge of wing for making use of slot effect at seaplane run. EFFECT: enhanced aerodynamic efficiency due to use of optimal clearance between trailing edge of aerodynamic wing and surface of water screen; improved hydrodynamic properties due to gliding on flaps. 7 dwg
