FIELD: satellite systems; deployment of geostationary telecommunication system. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes launch of two geostationary artificial satellites by means of one injection unit. Mass of first satellite suitable for global and local blanketing of territory considerably exceeds mass of second satellite which may be used for local blanketing of territory. Second satellite is positioned between injection unit and first satellite during injection. First satellite is separated in working orbit first. Second satellite is separated and deployed at time delay sufficient for deployment of first artificial satellite. Mass of second satellite is selected to be practically equal to difference between mass of first satellite and mass of payload. Invention stipulates complete use of service life of modern transport spacecraft (launch vehicles), redundancy of satellites in orbit enhancing adaptability of system for various space objects.
