FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the space equipment. Method of forming a constellation of space vehicles (SV) for local observation of a given region of the planet equipped with optoelectronic remote sensing equipment includes the excitation of spacecraft into multiple orbit synchronized with the period of rotation of the planet. As a part of the constellation, the SV is taken out on circular orbits with the same heights and the same inclinations, with ascending nodes moving relative to the projection of the Sun onto the equatorial plane with a nonzero angular velocity; SV on elliptical multiply synchronized with the period of rotation of the planet orbit, the apocenters of which are placed above a given point on the surface of the planet with the introduction into orbit with zero velocity of motion in the apocenter – in a reference system rigidly connected with the rotating planet.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to provide continuous monitoring of the predicted event in a given area of the planet's surface, the possibility of flexible rebuilding of the orbital grouping when observing a given area.
