FIELD: metallurgy; applicable in manufacture of semiproducts by plastic metal working, for instance, for aerospace industry. SUBSTANCE: method of blank working for obtaining homogeneous fine-grained microstructure by deformation at temperature below temperature of full polymorphic transformation includes at least two deformations of blank. For the first deformation, blank is heated to temperature equal to or higher than temperature (α corresponding to equal quantitative ratio of phases in alloy, and at said temperature at least a part of deformation is effected. For the second deformation, blank is heated and deformed at temperature below temperature +β). Technical result of the invention consists in production of fine-grained structure with grains sizing within 10-15 mcm, and also attaining of structurally homogeneous state in blank ensuring transparency of ultrasonic quality control of semiproducts and articles.
