FIELD: technical means for use in water-supply systems; applicable in testing fire hydrants of underground type and in draining of fire hydrants and pumping out of water from inspection pit with the help of stand pipe without use of special pumps. SUBSTANCE: introduced additionally into known stand pipe for testing of fire hydrants, containing column secured to captive nut and having branch pipes with shutoff valves and internal rod with socket wrench attached to its lower end are jet pump with branch pipes, air nipple with check valve, two packing glands with extensions and drain tube. Pressure branch pipes of stand pipe and jet pump are provided with quickly connected nuts for their connection. Suction branch pipe of jet pump has flexible pipeline with length corresponding to depth of inspection pit. Made in upper wall of captive nut, in diametrical planes of stand pipe not coinciding with plane of installation of its branch pipe and turned round stand pipe axis through angle not coinciding with an angle between ribs of hydrant upper pipe cross are two holes into which said two glands are installed for sealing of drain tube whose length corresponds to length of hydrant. In this case, packing glands are made for their shutoff with not drain tube present in them. Length of extensions of packing glands is not less than depth of hydrant throat in inspection pit. Made in upper part of stand pipe column, in its diametrical plane not coinciding with planes of installation of branch pipes and glands, is hole for said air nipple with check valve.
