FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has base located in ice field and made in form of load-bearing platform at positive buoyancy; said platform consists of two L-shaped bases formed by force-taking plates 1 and 2 and two transversal plates 3 and 4 immovably connected with plates 1 and 2. Said L-shaped bases of load-bearing platform are interconnected flexibly and movably by means of four flat springs, thus forming flexible parallelogram. Two coil cylindrical springs 6 and 7 are located inside space formed by base which is free of ice; ends of said springs are connected with force-sensing plates 1 and 2. Axes of maximum compliance of coil cylindrical springs 6 and 7 and flexible parallelogram are perpendicular to working surface of force-sensing plates. Instrument transducer is made in form of potentiometer 12 mounted on one of force-sensing plate and leverage 13 and 14 connected with opposite plate on one side and with potentiometer shaft on other side.
