FIELD: underwater acoustics. SUBSTANCE: invention specifically refers to parametric antennas with three-wave interaction mechanism of plane waves. Method can be employed to control regions of interaction of waves, to determine their boundaries, extent of field of immaterial antenna, to establish key energy characteristic of antennas ( directivity, concentration factor and efficiency ). Signals of acoustic pressure and signals of vibratory rate along established direction are received and measured in points with known fixed coordinates of receivers, intensity vectors of power flux are defined and used to form sectional plane of field of antenna and spatial coordinates of positions of elementary acoustic phonons are found. Image of field is reconstructed by collection of positions of phonons on each sectional plane. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and authenticity of determination of field of antenna. 2 cl, 1 dwg
