FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves blowing grain and seed layer having moisture content of 16-22% with ozone-air mixture at heat carrier temperature of 35-40 C. In case moisture content is outside said range, heat carrier is not subjected to ozone-air saturation and temperature is set in accordance with economy and process requirements. Method allows drying process to be accelerated in the average by 27% and specific power consumption to be reduced by 23%, while at continuous supplying of ozonized heat carrier specific power consumption is reduced by no more than 22% and power consumption by no more than 19%. Service life of ozonizer is increased in the average by 40-50%. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced power consumption and prolonged service life. 5 dwg
