FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment and method for drying and storage of low-moisture content grain.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming pile in grain storage; providing active ventilation; increasing length of grain pile along grain storage while disposing ridges above gaseous media sources at pitch T=2[H-L/2tq(900-αo/2)]/[tqα+tq(900-αo/2)], where L is width of stagnation zone on free surface of pile, m; H is height of pile, m; αo is flow opening angle, deg; α is angle of rest of grain, deg. Gaseous component is ozone-air mixture. Apparatus has fan, electric heater, air-distributing channels connected at their inlet ends with ozonizer and arranged on grain storage floor at pitch T. Ozonizer is adapted for connecting sets of ozone generators and is disposed rearward of electric heater switched to computer.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption for drying procedure, elimination of grain losses during grain drying and storage.
