FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method deals with preparing animal blood smears. Then two buffer-incubation mixtures should be prepared to conduct the incubation of animal blood smears in the darkness by washing after each incubation stage. The first buffer-incubation mixture contains copper sulfate, tris-HCl and distilled water. The second buffer-incubation mixture contains benzidine, ethanol, tris-HCl. Hydrogen peroxide and distilled water. After that, animal blood smears should be dried and dyed with a 0.5-% neutral red solution beforehand. According to the number of dyed neutrophilic granules one should conclude on myeloperoxidase activity. EFFECT: higher efficiency of immunological trials. 1 cl, 1 dwg
