FIELD: medicine, gynecology. SUBSTANCE: one should perform circular, longitudinal lateral and anterior vaginal incisions. Cardinal and sacral-uterine ligaments are resected against an uterine cervix. The latter should be amputated. Cardinal ligaments are replaced onto opposite sides to be placed cruciformly. Proximal ends of ligaments are fixed to a tendinous arch of pelvic bottom from both sides. Ligaments' parts adjacent to uterine cervix are sutured, sacral-uterine ones should be shortened. Proximal ends of sacral-uterine ligaments are fixed to a posterior surface of uterine cervix. The method enables to prevent uterine prolapse. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
