FIELD: medicine, gynecology. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out a circular colpotomy around uterine cervix. Cardinal and sacral-uterine ligaments should be resected against a cervix. Ligaments are maximally detected at the extension to be shortened up. Proximal ends of ligaments should be fixed by sutures being nearer towards the external opening of uterine cervix. The method enables to keep anatomical integrity and physiological functions of uterine cervix in case of females' uterine prolapse. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. 3 ex
