FIELD: veterinary virology. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by a 5-fold immunization of sheep with inactivated virus of rabies. Immunization is conducted for 3-42 points at 14-d-long interval. The method enables to obtain ovine blood sera at the titers of antibodies in the test of fluorescence focal inhibition being 1: 10240-20480, and 1:16-32 in reaction of diffuse precipitation. The method favors to obtain efficiently and safely hyperimmune antirabic sera of high virus-neutralizing and precipitating activity. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 ex, 2 tbl
