FIELD: devices for purification of liquids from mechanical impurities, mainly, in drainage systems of pressure quartz, ion-exchange and sorption filters of industrial and household-drinkable water treatment. SUBSTANCE: slotted filter cartridge has cylindrical filter element having uniformly distributed transverse slots and secured from ends with covers, one of which is connected with central outlet branch pipe and rigidly connected with cylindrical perforated insert. Insert is installed inside filter element with annular gap. Insert perforation is made in the form of transverse slots which are displaced along axis relative to slots of filter element. Insert slot connectors are located uniformly over circumference and combined with one another along axis. Value of annular gap between filter element and insert does not exceed height of filter element slots and height of insert slots. EFFECT: higher stability and operating reliability of slotted filter cartridge due to its high strength and simple design. 2 cl, 5 dwg
