METHODS TO CONTROL RUNNING OF ELECTRIC TRAINS OF MONORAIL TRANSPORT SYSTEM ON ROUTE AND SECTIONS BETWEEN STATIONS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: monorail vehicle traffic control. SUBSTANCE: traffic control system incorporates programs to control running of trains on routes and sections, and control signals for traction electric drives are formed. Nominal and accelerated train running time- tables for each section are formed and entered in memory of server and time of running of one train over entire route is calculated with due account of preset nominal time of stop at stations and nominal train running time- table on sections. Required internal of running between trains is found and their initial location of route and time of beginning of running are determined. At arrival of train at station execution of train section time- tables is checked with due account of stop time at previous station and time of arrival at said station and difference interval from required value is calculated. Moreover, phase coordinates of specific sections of route are calculated and entered in memory, including coordinate of end point of specific section, required speed at end of section and required time of arrival at end section. EFFECT: improved accuracy of execution of train time-table, operative taking of decisions and their accomplishing. 5 cl, 4 dwg
