DEVICE FOR REPLACEMENT OF VALVING Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry, particularly, devices for control of gas and oil well uncontrolled blowouts; applicable in disposal of failed gate valves and installation of other valving on flangeless side branch of X-mass tree cross-member. SUBSTANCE: device has hinged with each other embracing member connected with cross-member flange and respective assembly. Embracing member connected with cross-member flange is made in the form of plate with bracket. Said assembly is changeable and consists of, in one case, embracing member in the form of fork with bushing and with stops for holding with the help of clamp, failed valving and its disposal. In other case, said assembly consists of embracing member made in the form of sector grip connected with flange of valving to be installed. Sector grip is secured through bracket to changeable splined bushing. Plate bracket is secured to cross-member lower flange. Splined bushing has thread on splines and is locked on rhomboid pin. Said assembly is locked on splined bushing in a definite position in height. Drive is made in the form of hydraulic cylinder. EFFECT: provided safety in elimination of uncontrolled blowouts. 5 dwg
