FIELD: space engineering; electric jet engine plants used as stationary plasma engines. SUBSTANCE: plasma engine includes cathode unit 1 consisting of at least one cathode-compensator 2 and supporting bracket 3, anode unit 4 consisting of magnetic system 5 mounted in box 6 with side walls 7 and mounting surface 8. Projection made in form of platform 9 is provided in parallel on mounting surface of box wall in such way that one its side 10 is located in one plane with mounting surface and other side is used for securing the supporting bracket. Thickness of platform L1 may be lesser than thickness of box L2. Box and supporting bracket may be protected by coat at blackness degree no less than 0.8. Platform is additionally provided with holes 11 for securing the engine. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and mechanical strength.
