FIELD: radio engineering, accurate determination of ranges between unspecified number of mobile objects at any time moment. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed for design of range-only radar conducting precision range measurements between unspecified number of mobile objects at any time moment. There is proposed range-only radar which master station named as central measurement center has first pulse generator of linear frequency modulation which output is connected in parallel with N first probe and heterodyne signal shaper (PHSS) and series connection of first amplifier and first isolating unit (IU) which second output is connected to input of first receiver, and of first antenna, series connection of first mixer which second input is connected to second outputs of first PHSS, first band filter (BF), first range search unit (RSU), first time substitute synchronizing and shaping unit (TSSSU) which second output is connected to second input of first PHSS and which third output is connected to third input of first digital adder. Each of N identical slave stations includes series connection of second antenna, second IU which first input is connected to outputs of second amplifier, second TSSSU, second pulse generator of linear frequency modulation and second PHSS which second input is connected to second output of second TSSSU. EFFECT: needed expansion of number of participants in range measurement without loss of precision in real time on basis of particular method of measurement thanks to employment of multichannel measurement system. 5 dwg
