FIELD: devices for fire extinguishing in mine workings with the help of fire-extinguishing foam, more specifically, unit for joining of plug with diffuser outlet hole. SUBSTANCE: plug is connected with diffuser body in at least two points; in one point with the help of hinge turning on its axle, and in other point, with the help of connecting member made of alloy spontaneously decomposed under effect of heating. Connecting member is made in the form of threaded stud. One its end is secured to plug and the other end runs through hole in bracket made on diffuser body and locked with nut. Connected with plug by means of adjusting screw is pressure disc engageable with seal provided on perimeter of diffuser outlet holes. EFFECT: higher operating reliability of device due to unimpeded and practically instantaneous opening of plug in occurrence of fire, and repeated use of device provided with said joining unit. 3 cl, 1 dwg
