FIELD: mechanical engineering; cylinder-piston groups of internal combustion engines, compressors and other piston machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed cylinder-piston group has support-motion mechanism consisting of two parallel structural member being parts of piston and projecting beyond the limits of piston whose length exceeding length of piston stroke, and two stationary piston stroke stabilizers in contact with two stabilizing structural members of piston to preclude deflection of piston from axial line at reciprocation. Each stationary stabilizer is made in form of curved strut through curved part of which corresponding structural member passes. Support-motion mechanism is designed for stabilizing piston stroke at reciprocation preventing piston deflection from axial line at reciprocation at any position of connecting rod. EFFECT: simplified support-motion mechanism. 25 cl, 9 dwg
