FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multisection centrifugal pumps designed for lifting oil from wells, particularly, to intersection connection of pumps. Proposed centrifugal sectional pump consists of two interconnected sections, each made in form of cylindrical housing accommodating working members and shaft installed for rotation and limited axial displacement. Head is secured on cylindrical housing of one section, and base is secured on cylindrical housing of other section. End part of head is female, and end part of base is male. Male part of base is provided with bead with conical and two cylindrical surfaces connected in process of assembling with corresponding surfaces of female end part whose cylindrical surfaces are divided by ring slot consisting of two grooves. Intermediate stop in form of split spring ring or torus is fitted in first larger diameter groove being located between concave surface of bead and surface of second smaller diameter rounded off groove. Invention is aimed at provision of flangeless connection of cylindrical tubular housings of sections and improvement of reliability of operation of submersible equipment and provision of higher quality of connection at reduction of cost and time taken mounting and demounting operations.
