FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat generator has liquid feeding facility, housing accommodating at least one facility for speeding up liquid motion made in the form of bladed wheel mounted for rotation under action of drive, and at least one facility for decelerating liquid motion made in the form of blade disposed near bladed wheel with clearance formed between blades. Mentioned blades are formed by radial slots made on end surface of bladed wheel and blade, respectively. Blade is fixed in position within housing and radial slots made on end surface of bladed wheel and blade are tilted through certain angles to radius of circumference inscribing external ends of slots and drawn through intersection point of external end of respective slot and mentioned circumference. In particular case of implementing this invention bladed wheel may be mounted for adjusting clearance between end surfaces of bladed wheel and blade and liquid feeding facility may be made in the form of feed screw.
