FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; applicable in oil recovery from wells with high gas-oil ratio. SUBSTANCE: gas separator has, at least, two successively installed separating stages. Each stage is made in form of successively installed pressure unit, centrifuge and sub. Pressure unit is in form of auger located in auger chamber. Centrifuge is made in form of activator with blades and accommodated in separating chamber. Sub provides for withdrawal of working medium flow internal part to well space and external part of working medium flow to inlet of next stage. Diameter of auger chamber of the first stage exceeds that of auger chamber of next stage. Diameters of separating chambers of all stages are same in size.
