FIELD: spraying equipment. SUBSTANCE: powder injection system has dosing chamber 2, powder supplying mechanism 7 of known construction adapted for direct supplying of power into dosing chamber, which is connected to sprinkler 1 of detonating gun through straight pipeline 4. Pressure wave is spread through sprinkler 1 into connecting pipe 4 and is abruptly expanded immediately after it reaches dosing chamber 2 to interrupt the process of supplying powder from continuous powder supplying mechanism 7 and cause complete fluidizing of powder in dosing chamber 2. Fluidized powder is sucked into sprinkler 1 and is kept there until wave pressure created during the following detonation cycle carries out fluidized powder to apply it onto surface of part to be coated. Powder injection system provides for supplying of precise amount of powder at each blast due to suction effect following pressure wave at each detonation cycle and facilitates preliminary heating and fluidizing of powder due to interaction thereof with hot combustion gases.
