APPARATUS FOR CLEANING BATHS CONTAINING LIQUID UNDER OPERATING CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: bath cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has suction device positioned on bath bottom and movable by drive communicated with pressure pipeline. Drive is actuated by working fluid, which drives water wheel connected in power locking relation to working mechanism cooperating with bath bottom, and filtering unit connected to suction pipeline. Suction device is equipped with guiding system for providing its reciprocating motion and two-way valve controllable by means of end switch for alternative opening of discharge aperture or for changing direction of rotation of water wheel. Suction device is connected to suction pipeline through filtering unit equipped with pump and is provided with at least one suction chamber communicated with suction pipeline and with pressure chamber communicated with pressure pipe of pump. Apparatus may be used in scrubber chambers of ventilation units, water reservoirs of cooling columns, conditioners etc. EFFECT: increased efficiency by continuous operation and provision for cleaning of predetermined portions of bath surface without frequent stoppages. 11 cl, 5 dwg
