FIELD: sweeping equipment. SUBSTANCE: sweeping unit for sweeping machine of suction type has at least one sweeping device connected with drive and mounted on guide. Guide is composed of several members, some of these members are fixed and others may be moved to change width of sweeping unit. Guiding members may be shifted inwardly relative to fixed guiding members of respective sweeping unit in the direction opposed to direction of movement of sweeping unit to reduce sweeping width.
